    Too much false positives

    Hello all

    My zabbix server is reporting too much false positives. Services are reported down while nothing is wrong. I've already modified my triggers to report failure only when there's three consecutive failures ({hostname:nntp.max(#3)}#1), the connectivity of the server (it's on a remote site) is OK and performance is not an issue (and it's only monitoring 16 hosts for a total of 65 items). What else can be wrong? Or is my trigger expression wrong?

    Thanks,

    Glenn

      An example item, from the Standalone template:

      Description: WEB (HTTP) server is running
      Type: Simple check
      Key: http

      exact trigger expressions copied from the gui
      Also from the Standalone template:
      Name: WEB (HTTP) server is down on {HOSTNAME}
      Expression: {hostnamecensored:http.max(#3)}#1
      Event generation: normal

      example data from "500 latest values" (Latest Data -> Graph)
