Unable to start Zabbix on FreeBSD

Greetings,

When I try to start zabbix_server, I get:

Zabbix 1.6.5, FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE, MySQL 5.0

The zabbix database exists, so does the user/password I told zabbix to use to connect to the database and said user was granted all privileges on the zabbix database.

Any ideas?
