eventlog monitoring working, but restarting agent rescans entire log

So I got the eventlog monitoring to work a while back and I really like it. One aspect that is slightly annoying I am finding that every time I restart the agent on the client (adding new user parameters for instance), it rescans the whole eventlog from the beginning and re-emails me for every trigger i have set. Any way to make it so it doesnt rescan or have this behavior?

Bump.. this happens to me too. Quite annoying on agent restart to get 500 triggers.

I just noticed this behaviour too. This really is stupid. We reboot our terminal servers quite frequently, so every time that happens my zabbix is trashed with eventlog messages again, and so the actions are triggered.

I didn't notice the behaviour before, simply because eventlog wasn't usable anyway (putting an eventlog on resulted in delayed monitoring). Now I've fixed it (at least I think) and I come across this...
