Zabbix Agent timeout over 30s?

Hi !

I'm just installing a fresh zabbix server and i didn't found any clear response about this question:

Is there any way to bypass 30sec timeout for Agent check or external check?

Maybe with a new compilation ?

Ok here is what i found :

For agent:

I just modify

./src/zabbix_agent/zabbix_agent.c
./src/zabbix_agent/zbxconf.c

with this line

{"Timeout",&CONFIG_TIMEOUT,0,TYPE_INT,PARM_OPT,1,2 00},


For Server

the same trick with
./src/zabbix_server/server.c


and next recompile and start!


I've All Zabbix parts compiled with 200s timeout, for AIX 5.1 AIX 5.2 AIX 5.3 with zabbix 1.6.6 , you can send me a message if you need any of this packages
