Separating messages for Jabber, SMS, Email?

I have started using the Jabber notifications and they work really well. I know about the issues instantly and it always comes in faster than email.

My biggest gripe with this though is that I would like to just receive a simple one-liner in instant message instead of the normal long email I have that has many variables added to it.

Is there any way to currently separate out the message sent to jabber and the message sent to email? Anyone done this?

    Hi.

I'm using this for some months now with distint Actions setup.
One more complete sending to a Mailbox and a summed up macros version to a Jabber account.

Zab1.8 will bring you [DEV-332] added media selection for notifications

So you created a separate user for your jabber account and a separate action for this also?

I can only select the user to send to (which has both the email and the jabber tied to that user).

A lot of extra work just to separate the messages for different media

"[DEV-332] added media selection for notifications" - This does indeed look like it will make it so only a new action is needed. Will help a bit.
