    Same Applications in different templates?

Is there a way to use the same applications in different templates?

If we try to assign templates with same applications to a host it says: "Template with application [test] already linked to the host"

      Hi all!

This is EXACTLY what we are looking so long.
      We use many different templates.

For example we have about 6 templates for different backup-scenarios. Now, if I could group ALL template-items under one roof - the application "backup" this would be VERY great.

If it is possible to do the trick, this would help us SO MUCH!

Maybe someone from Zabbix Sia wants to comment that; is it a hard job?

      Kind regards,

      Markus.

Is this a issue related with new version 1.8?.

Until zabbix 1.8, I work fine with "applications" but after upgrade from 1.6.6, "applications" have been assigned only to some templates and not to all and when I try to create them in rest of templates zabbix complaint telling me that "application" has been assiged to other.

          definitely NO.
This issue occured in 1.6.1 and 1.6.4 (what we are currently using).

telling me that "application" has been assiged to other.
          This is exactly our problem.
