Windows zabbix agent 1.6.6/Zabbix server 1.6.6

Hi all,

I'm just build a zabbix server 1.6.6 for monitored Windows and Linux server(zabbix agent 1.6.6). For Linux no problems but for Windows there are no many templates. For example httpd(not supported by zabbix agent), ftp, mysql.

Must i use snmp agent forcing for monitored this services ?

Excuse i for my english if it is incorrect.

you can simply create your own items and test for open ports, services running, processes running... see zabbix manual for more detail on supported items
