    Monitoring Triggers

    Hi all,

I have installed the latest stable version of Zabbix (v1.6.6) on our new Zabbix server but when I go to the "Monitoring => Triggers"screen I get my normal warnings and disasters (shown in the dashboard) also a lot green irrelevant messages. The status is green and blinking "OK" on these triggers but there seems no way to get that rubbish out of my screen. In Zabbix 1.4.4 this screen was nice and showed only the actual problems. Anyone knows how to resolve this or knows if there is a patch to resolve this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

these are problems who have been recently resolved. after a while they will go away. you can tweak how long that time is in include/defines.inc.php file, parameters TRIGGER_FALSE_PERIOD and TRIGGER_BLINK_PERIOD

Virtual memory on trigget pages Zabbix 1.6.6

        Hi again,

The trigger page seems to work fine, however is the terminal crashing every few hours because it runs out of virtual memory. I have tried to adjust the firtual memory for the machine, however this doesnt solve any problems, just extending the time a bit between the fresh boot of the terminal and the crash of the system. Is there any chance to resolve this problem?

Actually I mean a graphical terminal, most people know this as a thin client

That is correct, the browser which is used for it right now is IE. With the previous Zabbix we used this wasnt an issue, this started acting up since we are using the new zabbix version

ok, that's a different problem - please open a new thread for it.
for the record, i have no idea why that happens, and i can only suggest to test with some other browser, which might provide more debug information

I have changed the web browser on the Thin client now and will have to look how it works. But somehow out of nothing the old problem is back with all irrelevant messages printed in green are back. THis are the options which I have edited:

                    define('TRIGGER_FALSE_PERIOD', 12); // 30min, 0 - disable
                    define('TRIGGER_BLINK_PERIOD', 12); // 30min, 0 - disable

Original values were on 1800 ( as I take it those are in sec). Is there maybe another option which needs to be edited in this or an other config file to fix this permenantly?

                    Regards.

no, there should not be another option for that, and these lines should now disappear after 12 seconds.
