Pre-Install Question for an IT Service Shop w/ Multiple Sites

Hello,
We are a small IT service provider shop in CA. We are considering implementing Zabbix to monitor all our client's sites and devices. First, I want to know if this is possible to monitor various remote sites with different networks and components? Second, if it will be possible to achieve this securely without compromising security at all? How will this work?

Lastly, if I would like to generate "executive" level reports on the availability of servers, networks and other equipment, will this be possible? Can this report can be exported to a PDF?

Any information you might have on how to implement such a system with an IT service provider needs in mind would be greatly appreciated.

1- Yes, no problems there

2- There's no such thing as absolute security, but maybe if you adapt this to your needs it will be helpful for you

3- Zabbix doesn't export to PDF as a built-in function, you can either install JasperReports or manually copy the info Zabbix gathered to an Excel and further manually processing that to a PDF report

With a little effort Zabbix can be a powerful helper for your operations.
