Does zabbix create process of DBSYNCER??

Any helps will be very appreciated! I see the source code zabbix.I found that zabbix does not create process DBSYNCER It's number is 0. I also see the zabbix_server.log.
CONFIG_DBSYNCER_FORKS = 0;
Who can help me why???

I check the zabbix_server.conf, it does not define the "StartDBSyncers", so I add "StartDBSyncers=1" to zabbix_server.conf by my hand. I want to known why "StartDBSyncers" is not added default.
Help me.Thanks.
