Event Acknowledgment by Email

I'm not even sure that Zabbix can do this but... Does anyone know how to acknowledge events by email. So the scenario we want is: Zabbix detects a problem, raises an email / SMS. The on-call engineer receives the email / SMS and immediately sends a "Working-on-it" response by email back to Zabbix to stop escallation from being triggerred.

i don't think that is directly supported, although maybe it could be scripted with web scraping/submitting scripts. hopefully api + zabcon will allow to easy implement a workflow like that in near future

I did wonder whether that was the way to do - I also wondered whether I could use a zabbix trap to send a sepecific event into the server and then use that to stop escallation - I guess more experimenting is required
