Delayed notifications

Hi all,

Is it possible to have notifications (am talking about SMS alerts here) be delayed? If I specify some time interval when defining media for someone to, say, 1-7,07:00-23:59, it simply does not send alerts during the off hours. What I would like to have is that alerts "accumulate" and are being sent out when the time window comes up.
I am probably missing something here - is that possible?

depends (tm)
1. escalation steps could be used to delay notifications for some specific period of time since the problem happened;
2. trigger expressions could be used to construct delays based on current time (although this might get tricky very quickly);
3. in 1.8, maintenance would allow to configure a period where no notifications are generated for a host or hostgroup. if maintenance period expires and problem is still relevant, notification would be generated
