    Two stage trriger.

    Hi,

is the a way to make 2 stage strigger. I would like to get a warning when the cpu load goes 2-3 and high alert when > 7. Can I do it in one trigger or I must prepare two separate tests?

    Best regareds,

In the current 1.6.7 version you'll have to create 2 distinct Triggers.

AFAIR, new 1.8 that will come out next week will bring this functionality

      Hi!
In case if you mean that you want to receive trigger notification with trigger priority="Warning" when "system.cpu.load[,avg1].last(0)}=3" AND receive trigger notification with trigger priority="High" when "system.cpu.load[,avg1].last(0)}>7" - in this case no, severity of the trigger can no be changed depending on the trigger condition. In this case you should create 2 different triggers with different priorities (severities).
But if you mean that you want to receive trigger notification with trigger priority="Warning" when "system.cpu.load[,avg1].last(0)}=3" AND when "system.cpu.load[,avg1].last(0)}>7" then it is possible, in this case you should create trigger with multiple conditions, like this: "{Host:system.cpu.load[,avg1].last(0)}=3 & {Host:system.cpu.load[,avg1].last(0)}>7"

He asked for a Trigger that both has a severity warning and a severity high clause.
        Isn't .last(0)}=3 & .last(0)}>7 meaningless?

          Okay.
          So I see two scenario:

          - wait for 1.8,
          - create 2 triggers, one for warning and the other for high alarm.

          Thank you for help.

          Best regards,
          e.
