    Host unreachable - Detecting Time

    Hi all

I use Zabbix 1.6.7 with Ubuntu Server LTS 8.04 and Agents 1.6.7.
My problem is, that i can't extend the Host unreachable (trigger) detecting time.

    Example:
    {Template_Virtuell:status.last(500)}=2

I try it with, min, max and last - it doesn't work. Zabbix detecting that plus/minus in 1 min. That is to short. Because a reboot from a Server or Client - Zabbix detect this. That is not needed.

Have someone a solution? Thanks for help

as you can see in the manual, last() function ignores parameters when given in seconds.

in general, .status is not suggested for trigger usage, you are advised to use some other check, like agent.ping or similar

      Other Way....

      Hi

      Thanks.
Mh... ping is not solid. The only thing, what i can do is set the unreachablePeriod in the config File.
