    Zabbix 1.8 - Display bandwidth on Maps

    I was taking a look at the new features of 1.8 and I was really interested in being able to display the bandwidth on the links between sites.

    I'd imagine I have to add something in the Link text/description/title that would pull data from one of my already monitored SNMP items.

    My question is how do I go about adding this information correctly?

      OK, i have found.

      On link label you put your text and variables. The variables have the same syntax of triggers.

      Exemple, my host name is : FRDE_E06-0_S001
      My item is : ifInOctets.10648
      and you want le last value so : last(0)

      Put in your link label :

      Input : {FRDE_E06-0_S001:ifInOctets.10648.last(0)}
      Output : {FRDE_E06-0_S001:ifOutOctets.10648.last(0)}

        Note that you may also use other functions, for example, average for 5 minutes:

        Input : {FRDE_E06-0_S001:ifInOctets.10648.avg(300)}
        Output : {FRDE_E06-0_S001:ifOutOctets.10648.avg(300)}

              check whether that item is really configured with such a key and that it is receiving data - most likely it isn't

                That is what I have found as well. Anytime I have had the ??? it was because it was a typo or a missing item that has no values.

                  The key is receiving data ,I also use ifInOctects.4227722 and ifOutOctets.4227722 the value of the image generated Traffic。

                      Zabbix 2.0.1 - Display bandwidth on Maps

                      Hi All,

                      I need to display bandwidth on zabbix 2.0.1, I have followed the instructions on the below thread but it doesn't work.

                      The key is generated by discovery, despite I found the right Octets value it doesn't work.

                      Did it change something on 2.0.1 version?

                      Please let me know.

                      Thanks
