    Windows Perf_Counter trouble

    Hi everyone,

    It will be great if you could help me with such an issue.
    I created an item in zabbix to monitor the \Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time Counter for windows server.

    Type: Zabbix Agent
    Key: perf_counter[\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time]
    Type of information: Numeric (float)

    It works ok, retrieves the processor time normally, but when the processor time is 100% on the monitored server, zabbix shows 0% and not 100% as it should be.

    This problem I encountered also with monitoring the Physical Disk Time.

    For example:

    When disk time on monitored server is 27%, zabbix shows 27%;
    When disk time on monitored server is 100%, zabbix shows 0%;
    When disk time on monitored server is 117%, zabbix shows 17%

    Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong?

    Thank you !

    HELLO

    You could try this:

    Type: Zabbix Agent
    Key: perf_counter [\ Processor (_Total) \% Processor Time]
    Type of information: Numeric (float)
    Units:%
    Use multiplier: Do not use
    Update interval (in sec): 30 sec
    Flexible intervals (sec): Not flexible intervals
    Status: Active
    Store value: As is

    Works well I have installed:

    Ubuntu Server 9.10
    zabbix 1.8

    sorrry for my bad english

    Mucha suerte !!!!!!!!!

      Thanks for your reply, Daniel !

      That is the exact setup I have for that item.
      It works ok, but only when Processor Time is bellow 100%.
      For example if I load the CPU to 100%, Zabbix shows the increase, then finally when it has to show 100%, it show 0%, so no trigger triggers..

      Any other ideas?
