Howto upgrade Zabbix 1.6.4 to 1.8

Hi,

I'm new to zabbix and have some questions about upgrading

I have Zabbix 1.6.4 running and I want to upgrade to 1.8.
The manual discripes this in steps, but i don't get it.

It says in 2.5.6.4. Install new server binaries, You may use pre-compiled binaries.
now here is the question, where can I find the binaries?

It depends on your platform. Check http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8777 to find people who sharing binaries. Or just compile them by yourself.
