Ok i have an item that is looking at a log for successes, and it works just fine. I am trying to duplicate that to another log on the same host to test it. So i have two items and two triggers that almost identical, except they point to different log files, that's it.
The problem is the only one item (the non-test one) works just fine, but under monitoring > Latest data, only that one item is recording data.
I created a .txt file for it to look at it, made sure the name was right, even case sensitive wise, the zabbix agent has full control to the .txt file. For some reason it just wont record any data, and i have deleted it several times and tried from scratch all over again with the same results every time.
I have exhausted my mental resources and need some fresh brains to help me out!
