E-Mail Alert

Hi All,
can anyone help me to setup E-Mail Alert from the Zabbix?
i have setup my action for sending mail,there i set severity as high and disaster.
In the Administration-Users-i have added my gmail account.
In Media Type-Email-i put my SMTP Server name and mail account.

Is are the above steps all right?
I need to get alert from Zabbix

Please anyone can guide setup email alert?
