    web monitoring items

In zabbix 1.8 manual, the section 9 "WEB Monitoring" which said :
As soon as a scenario is created, Zabbix automatically adds the following items for monitoring and links them to the selected application. Actual scenario name will be used instead of “Scenario”.
    Download speed for scenario
    Failed step of scenario

These items can be used to create triggers and define notification conditions.
I created a scenario link it to a application, but why i did't see the items in the selected application.(configure->hosts->applications->items num is 0)

    Help me ,Thanks!

web monitoring items are considered to be "internal" ones and are not displayed for user to modify. you should be able to see them in latest data section, though

      another question about web monitoring:

if i create Web scenario with 4 steps, how can i retreive a concrete SERIAL NUMBER of failed step for use at Triggers's Condition? now i found only one Item "Failed step of scenario 'my scenario'". Again, it's only one at "ITEMS" list, not present for all steps.

i need to create different Triggers for different failed steps (steps can fail via TimeOut).

but for all 4 steps created there are 3 parameters only present at full set:

      Download speed for step ''
      Download speed for step ''
      Download speed for step ''
      Download speed for step ''

      Response code for step ''
      Response code for step ''
      Response code for step ''
      Response code for step ''

      Response time for step ''
      Response time for step ''
      Response time for step ''
      Response time for step ''

And two have only one item:

      Download speed for scenario ''
      Failed step of scenario ''

      Please assist.

i don't think you can do that currently, unless you create a trigger for each step and replicate steps name in the trigger. might be a good feature request, though
