zabbix 1.8 and postgresql 8.3.9

Hi,

I have installed zabbix 1.8 with postgresql 8.3.9 and now size of zabbix db is 16G. It's a normal situation?

It's normal. Check if you need to monitor all the items that are defined in templates you use. Moreover, it may be worth to increase 'Update interval' for some items.
