adding only specific hosts to one user

    Hello,
Is it possible to assign to one user only a specific list of hosts to have rights on, instead of giving permissions based on host groups ?
    Thank you.

Why do you want to assign permissions directry to hosts?

      Hello,
I want to do this because :
      - I monitor a lot of servers and for a few of them, I need that certain users to be notified when a trigger is activated.
Currently, I have achieved this by :
      - creating a new hosts group and adding that server also in that group
      - creating a new users group and linked only to that hosts group
      - the new user belongs to that user group
But this seems to tricky and hard to maintain when it comes to dozens of users that need to have access only to one host alerts.

Why can't you make a User Group called Reallove, add one user called reallove, for example, then add the individual servers to the Reallove User Group.

Alternatively, create Host Groups along the same lines as above. A Host Group with all Reallove's devices in that group. Then add the Reallove Host Group to the Reallove User Group.

Disclaimer: All of the above is pure speculation.

I realize this is an old thread but I would like to revise this discussion since I am trying to do the same thing. Creating a separate user group for each user and a separate server group for each server just so you can assign one user to one server is not practical when you want to do that hundreds, maybe thousands of times. It would be much easier if you could directly assign one user to one server.

same issue, i need to share more tha hundred user, it's take the time. maybe it's possible if a host can set privilage spesific user, example 1 host set priviledge 2 user (1 for administrator, 1 for user read only), it's like tag
