Automatic Inventory Population (SNMP)

I'm trying to figure out how to Populate the Profile Fields in the Host Automatically VIA SNMP or some other source

I've Had trouble trying to do this by importing from xml created template which works for everything else besides populating the profile fields

is there another way
Maybe VIA Discovery mapping snmp values to there specific host and profile fields through an action like setting up auto-discovery to add host to hostgroup

Your best bet is going to be with the API, however that's not fully supported yet. In time hopefully.
