    Active Check Configuration

    guys,

I put a host client behind a firewall to be monitored, but, if I stop the zabbix_agentd process, i didn't get any notification on my zabbix server.

How can i be notified if i didn't get any data for X minutes ?

    tkz

    Olá Thiago.

Not sure why you'd stop your agent, but considering you want to be notified when the connection between agent and Server is interrupted,

    Don't forget to install fping

      Zabbix_zen,

I can't ping the host, because it is behind a firewall. I am using active check to monitor, i mean, i am receiving data from agentd. I am not asking agentd for data...

I want to known when i stop to receive data from client.

      tkz in regard,

      ThiagoMZ

if you are letting connection through the firewall to let the active agent send data then open traffic from the server to do a passive agent check(also none as agent ping),then set a no data trigger. hope that helps

but i have used the function nodata in a active check, now... if i do not receive nothing in X seconds, my trigger is executed.
