interval on incoming traffic on interface eth0

I am trying to increase the interval on monitored items so that the history table doesn't grow as much
What would you recommend for the incoming traffic on interface eth0 ? Right now is it 5 seconds. Does 20 seconds make sense ?

I tend to set most of my items to a minimum granularity of 60 seconds. I find this works well and the graphs still look pretty good. If I *really* need granular data points I will use 30 seconds but nothing less.
