im fresh with zabbix and the first thing i tried was to get notifications with my openfire server running. The only thing i can get out of the zabbix_server.log is JABBER server disconnected. ngrep -t '' 'tcp and port 5222' tells me that there is something going on but no message is generated. iksroster --backup=user@roaster --sasl generates nothing so i think it is working or should the roaster be presented? i tried raising the debuglevel but i still only get the server disconnected log after some time. Any suggestions?
