Zabbix trapper item not showing in latest data

    Hi All

    Need help on the following:
Zabbix server version: 1.6.5 and 1.8

We are trying to configure application alerts (For example: antivirus scan) to be monitored via Zabbix trapper.

SNMP agent has been started on the client and SNMP trap daemon has been started on the Zabbix server.

The data has successfully been pushed from the client and trapped to a log file on the Zabbix server.

However, we are not able to view the latest data.
From the item that we configured, we tested on the trigger and able to retrieve results of "True" and "False"

Which part did we missed out?

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance!

    same problem here

have 1.8.1 when I added template_mysql_server (found from one of the wiki sites), I can see the triggers when I goto host items list (zbx3.png), and the template items are configured as Application "mysql" (zbx4.png) in the host configuration.

But I cannot see the application mysql under latest data nor can I see the alerts (zbx1.png)

Please help. This is the best script I found to monitor mysql and I have around 8 servers.

      niranjan:

When setting up Template_Mysql_Server it actually takes some time for the data to start populating.

Check the install procedure that you found on the wiki and double check every thing.
Also, there is a forum thread dedicated to that template, so you may find some answers there. In fact, probably better if you posted questions about that template to that thread.

      Have fun!
