File monitoring

I am writing because I would have followed a backup of a file.

Let me explain: I have a server that performs a daily backup, and I'd like to know if the backup occurred.

Someone just help me?

Does you backup app have log files? If so you should be able to monitor those for specific strings.

My backup is done with log files, but they are implem each backup. It exite one for each day Monday, Tuesday ...

I do not know how to recover the fact that this file has been updated!
