    Intranet montoring

Hi there, new to Zabbix and finding it a bit daunting (have to say the doco can be a bit confusing) but impressed.

I'm trying to set it up so that it monitors an intranet page, only issue being is that the page is hosted on IIS and uses integrated authentication (Windows authentication).

Is it possible to configure this in Zabbix? Thus far I can only get status 401, obviously authentication failed as expected.

    Hi,

What version of Zabbix are you using ?
In v1.6 and before, Zabbix did not support Web authentification.
    In v1.8, it is supported.
If you are using 1.8, go to Configuration/Web and select your scenario.
In Scenario page, change "Basic authentication" field from "None" to "Basic authentication".
Two new fields should appear : "User" and "Password".
    Fill them and Save.
    It should work.

You can ignore my previous post.
I missed the part where you said IIS is using integrated Windows authentification (aka NTLM).
Zabbix uses libcurl for Web monitoring but I don't know if it supports NTLM.

      Sorry for the noise.
