Are you asking what it is for? It just shows you wether the server has anything to test the remote server with. If you have an item checked it will be listed as available or not available if all items fail, or unknown if it has no items to check with. It's not really tied into any of the items or triggers so it doesn't really tell you the hosts status, only if the server has any information on how to test it.
