Gathering number of trigger in problem state thru mysql

    Hi everyone,

i have a small problem that i'm sure might be easy to solve but can't find an easy solution.

We are using colored control tower and are getting alert by mail and thru this tower as flashing red or yellow and steady red yellow. Normal condition is of course green.

The issue is the following. When an alert come's up, it will put the alert tower in yellow. When the alert is over or is acknowledged, the tower turn to green. This is handled by action sending rsh command to the tower. The problem is that if two alerts come's up and one is acknowledge or is resolved the tower will turn green despite the fact the other alert is still on.

My idea is to manage the tower thru current global condition but for this i need a way to gather information for the database (mysql) and see if there are unacknowledged alerts or if everything is green and send rsh message to our towers accordingly.

I have tried different select * from triggers or event command but can't find the proper place. If there is another solution i'm totaly open to it.

    Thanks a lot
