    Zabbix Monitor Game Servers

Has anyone used Zabbix to monitor game servers? I'm looking for a way to monitor game servers - where I am unable to install an agent - from various publishers.

A few of the specific games I'm looking to monitor include:
    - Valve's Team Fortress 2
    - Epic Game's Unreal Tournament 2004 and III
    - EA's Bad Company 2

    Anyone done anything like this?

I thought of doing this also at one point. I remember coming across a library someone wrote in Ruby to interface with one of the steam server mods which in turn gave various game stats. Tie that with a zabbix agent and wala!

You could probably use a tool such as QStat to get the server information, parse it and then put it into Zabbix. QStat can output in various different formats, ie. XML, which would be quite simple to parse.
