    Escalation doesn't seem to be working

    I have set up an action to escalate a problem if it exists more than 900 seconds (15 minutes). However, it doesn't seem to be actually escalating the issue.

    My assumption is that if the trigger is initially "Average", when it gets escalated it would become "High". Is this a correct assumption?

    I've attached my action associated with this. As well as the triggers showing that the triggers are firing as expected. Any assistance would be helpful.

    there is no escalation configuration in your screenshot - only single step is configured. and no, nothing is done to the trigger or event itself or it's severity. you can use escalation to delay notifications or send later messages to different people or different media.
