    Favicon?

    Hi

    I can't get Chrome or IE to show my custom favicon, but in Firefox it shows briefly after login, then reverts to the red Z favicon. CSS maybe?

    Not sure about Chrome of IE, but on FF you should be able to see it (permanently) after clearing the cache. [Tools -> Clear recent history -> check the Details tab].

    Disclaimer: All of the above is pure speculation.

        Viewing page source (i.e. Ctrl+U on Firefox) of Zabbix site you will see:
        Code:
        <link rel="shortcut icon" href="images/general/zabbix.ico" />
        Just replace file "zabbix.ico" with what you want. You may also want to read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon

          Yes, that's got it. page_header.php is the file to edit. i just replaced all references to images/general/zabbix in the "if($css) routine with my own thing.ico and after a little bullying of the caches, it's taken in all browsers. Zabbix changes frontend files frequently during development and it's still tricky to re-establish branding after a frontend upgrade but i'm getting better at it. This one goes on my fairly long list of things to edit after a frontend upgrade.

          thanks!

            yes. I had did so and then search 'zabbix.ico' in all *.php file but fail to find it.

            Now I know it's defined in the page_header.php... thanks your information!
