Template items not linking properly

I have a number of different templates assigned to each of my servers. With many of them, when I look at the template, it has all of its items, but if I look at the host that the template is assigned to, some or all of those items don't show up.

If an item is added to a template after the template is assigned to a host, the host gets the new item as well, right?

For example, I have a template Template_App_Apache which contains 10 items to check all assigned to application 'Apache'. I have assigned the template to my host 'centaurus'.

When I click on the 'Applications' link for host 'centaurus', it shows the Template_App_Apache:Apache application, but shows 0 items.

If I click on the link for 'Template_App_Apache:Apache', it shows all 10 items.

Why would these not be showing the same items?

This has to be a bug of some sort.

I went into Template_App_Apache's properties and removed the host 'centaurus' and saved it. I then went back in, added the host back, saved again, and the items appeared under the host like they should have originally.
