DNS & DHCP monitoring

Hi, i have seen, downloaded and tested the script and template of apache monitoring and works fine.

I would like to know if there are "something similar" for monitoring some services, such as DNS or DHCP, not only to control that the service is up but also to obtain some kind of stadistics like dhcp request, assigned adresses...

Any Script & Template to see that, for example, I can do the item proc.num[named]... but I dont know how to obtain more information about the service in Zabbix.

i don't recall anything ready & advanced on dhcp (although there might be something), but there's some stuff on dns : http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/howto/mon...n_your_network

there are also built-in items for dns checking, maybe they work for you as well
