    help smtp

    Please help, I´m new using zabbix, I want sent alerts, but I can´t. I´m try to follow diferent´s how to (sendmail, and nbsmtp), and I could not send any mail.
    I tried with different smtp server, and It don´t resolve my problem.
    I did test of connection (ping in case of firewall) and it don´t resolve my problem.
    If i go in php to administration audit action, i see action but I don´t receive e-mail.

    Please helppp

    Hi,

    One thing to check is to ensure that the user or group that you are sending notifications to has read access to the Host you are performing the action from.

    For instance if you have a group/user called 'Support' and a Host called 'Host1":

    Obviously 1st make sure 'Support' has a valid email address set under 'Media'. Then, if you want to send an email alert to 'Support' based on a trigger/action on 'Host1', then 'Support' needs read access rights to 'Host1' under "Administration" -> "Users". If it doesn't, 'add' your host under their 'Read Only' tab.
