    1.8.2server running is no

    Hello!
    my os is CentOS 5.2,I want update 1.6 to 1.8 is OK,but if anew install 1.8 ,it will show :server is running=no.check the log ,not found error message and looked the process there have many zabbix process,hope somebody help me!

    Is the error message showing up on the dashboard under "Status of Zabbix" ?

        the proplem is ok! the SELinux need to disable ,if somebody had the same proplem ,hope help somebody!

          My solution was:

          You can check and edit $ZBX_SERVER, $ZBX_SERVER_PORT in file conf/zabbix.conf.php properly with your server.
          Default $ZBX_SERVER is localhost if you config zabbix_server listen on specific IP, replace localhost with your IP
