upgrade from 1.6.x to 1.8.2

i want to upgrade zabbix

1) i must launch both scricpts patch.sql and upgrade?
or only one ?

2) how can i upgrade web interface?

1. both. follow the upgrade documentation closely http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...tion/upgrading

2. the exact commands variy by distribution and what method you used to install it in the first place.

what i do when i upgrade is tar the old frontend directory, delete it, then extract the new one in its place. After you run through the frontend installation wizard, then you're done.

keep in mind that you should do the server and database upgrade before the frontend.
