icmppingsec unsuported

Hi I can't seem to get icmpsec and ICMPping loss to go keep getting Error Unsupported paramater. suing the default paramater


icmpping seems to work fine tough

what shall i check.

Hi,

If you just like the attached screenshot you have not correctly configured,
it should be eg icmpingsec [8.8.8.8,5,300,128,100, avg], default is avg
look at the description of this in the zabbix documentation

thanks for the tip will try that..but whas the 8.8.8.8 is that the host IP..

since I am using a template for all hosts can I put somthing like "HOST"???

ok i left <ip> that seems to take host bound to template...

now I am trying to get the graph to show this in near real time..does seem to be happening..the graph line wont move above the bottom axis

you need to add a custom multiplier. The values come in something like .0050 which is actually 50 ms. Set the units to "ms" and the custom multiplier to 1000
If you don't have that option you need to update your version of zabbix. I think it's new in 1.8
