Hi,
Zabbix recently installed a server in my corporate network to monitor and put three machines on the network. Works wonderfully on any problems or instabilities.
I went to install more 9 pcs to be monitored by my zabbix Server but these have problems of instability. Present time the green OK message and time present the message Server servername is unreachable in red. It is thus going back and forth all the time.
I think it's some kind of verification of the TIMEOUT pcs since they are not on the same network but on the internet. The nine servers are not having problems but I believe the Zabbix Server sometimes can locate them and sometimes not. Does he checks by PING? I know how to solve? I read about one of such agent.ping but do not know if there is.
To better describe the error when I go in the menu CONFIGURATION / HOSTS got the following error when the machines are unreachable.
Status: Monitored
Availability: Not available
Error: Got empy string from [Name_Of_Server] IP [Ip_Of_Server] Parameter[agent.ping]
