    Zabbix with Mysql

    Hi
I intend to install zabbix-18.2 on debian lenny, according to http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/howto/ins...8_on_debian_50 this article default database is PostgreSQL. Is there any specific reason for usage of PostgreSQL as backend database??
Is there any article about installing zabbix-1.8.2 on debian with mysql backend?

    Thanks in advance

Did you even bother using the zabbix search box/google..?

There's an old cookbook for ubuntu (debian's twin)
    http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/howto/ins...bix&s[]=ubuntu

but I bet you can find at least 5 different ones googling for Zabbix 1.8 + Mysql, seeing that it's the most used DB with Zabbix deployments.
