Need Cisco 2950 Template

Hello all

i really need cisco 2950 template to work with my cisco switches.

The Generic Template 24*fast-2*G doesnt work for me.It doesnt detect the ports and switch etc it doesnt do anything.

Can anyone help??? or provide me with the cisco 2950 Old template

I shall be really thankful

I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THE GENERIC TEMPLATE IT DOESNT WORKS

Use the cisco_xml.pl script to generate your own cisco 2950 template.

i ran the script it gives me some MIB's i dont know what am i exactly suppose to do with them =S

Run the script as follows:
./cisco_xml.pl your_template_name ip_address_of_your_switch 75 5 snmp_community 20 link 5 template_group

I did what you asked me and i have the xml file which is the template now the problem is that when i try to import it it gives me error like this...


* Added new item furqan:Cpu
* Added new item furqanrocessorRam
* Added new item furqan:ciscoMemoryPoolLargestFree
* Added new item furqan:ciscoMemoryPoolFree
* Added new item furqan:ciscoEnvMonTemperatureStatusValue
* Added new item furqan:CiscoEnvMonState
* Added new item furqan:icmpping
* Incorrect key format 'key_name[param1,param2,...]'
* Internal zabbix error
* An item key must be used in trigger expression
* Unknown ZABBIX internal error



this was the same error that i received while trying to import the generic 24fa*2G template...


I have read somewhere that it is due to spaces in the description field but i am not sure...can you help me on this i am really lost here

e.g

<description>Port 01 FastEthernet0/1 Description</description>


it should be something like this...i have read it somewhere so i am not sure myself...


<description>Port01FastEthernet0/1Description</description>
