How to suppress the duplicated alarms in overlap action for a trigger?

let say, there are two actions, one action condition is 'Trigger severity = "Average"', the other one is 'Trigger description like "CPU load high"'. now there is a trigger name "CPU load high", its severity is "Average", so two alarms would be send out if this trigger is in 'problem' status. right?

My question is how can I suppress the duplicated alarms?

Just to clarify, you say: "let say, there are two actions, . . . "

Do you mean there is one action with two conditions? If there is only one action with two conditions, then only one alarm will be sent.

If you are receiving two alarms, then I would suspect a duplicate action, perhaps the default all alerts with no conditions sent to zabbix admin.

On the other hand, if you really mean there are two actions, well, two actions will mean two alerts.

    Maybe I'm confused.

      Hi, MrKen
Sorry for my misleading description... but your guess was right, there are two actions

Everything is fine if there is only one trigger like I said, but actually, we had lots of triggers have 'Average' severity or description like "CPU load high", it's not possible and efficient to create an action for each triggers. so we create an action for all triggers which has 'average' severity and an actions for all triggers which description like 'cpu load high'. but unfortunately there are many triggers fit both conditions.
