Cannot Create Graphs for other machines

Hi im new to this forum and new to zabbix.

first i installed zabbix from the repositry's (ubuntu 9.10) version 1.6 this was working without any problems!

i discovered that this wasnt the actual version so i uninstalled en installed version 1.8.x from source,

now the actual problem is that when i create a new graph for machine kobedc01

with cpu time and stuff the graph is called "test" will be created for zabbix server "zabbix" instead of kobedc01

this way i cannot create any graphs for other machines than the zabbix server.

i hope the problem is clear and that someone can point me in the right direction

    EDIT:
i have made a wink movie of the problem i think this wil explane the problem a bit more.

Graphs are related to that hosts from which they display data (items)!

      edit:

sorry i think i have missed the point.

      my bad.

when i add a graph rule above in the screen i need to select for witch pc (again) i would like the graph to be.
a bit confusing for me :X

first you go to configuration -> host -> then you select your host. -> add a graph rules (popup) -> select your machine/host again :S --> finish your graph by adding it. 2times the same thing if you would ask me.

If You would select host only once, that would limit graphs capabilities to contain only items from one host
