    WEB monitoring via proxy

    How can it be done? What is correct way to monitor web pages using zabbix proxy?
    There are no much info in documentation regarding subject. can be run web scenarios from zabbix proxys?

    as far as i know, that is not currently supported

      So only way is using Zabbix nodes? Run web scenario on node and node reports back results to master?

        yes, but make sure you really need nodes - maybe standalone servers work good enough for your environment. nodes are quite complex to set up and maintain.

        you might also want to consider filing a feature request on the tracker.

          Last question, please see screenshot. I can create web scenario for proxy from master Zabbix server. So what it will do? Web pages will be monitored from remote place where Zabbix master is, but not locally where is Zabby proxy? I mean HTTP request will be going from Zabbix master server network subnet.

          Can we gather web performance for one web page(www.cnn.com) using zabbix proxy? How can it be done?

            that's zabbix 1.6, so it's a bit old by now... but yes, i'd expect the requests to be made by zabbix server anyway.
