CPU Utilization vs # of Cores

    Hey

Just wondering what everyone does in terms of monitoring CPU Utilisation with triggers for when something crashes and uses 100% cpu time on a core for a period of time.

I could deal with this on a single core system, but on a dual core system for example if something takes up 100% of a cores cpu time, you have end up with 50% cpu time.

I'll end up looking at having this going on both linux and windows hosts.

    Thanks

you could try monitoring load on each cpu individually, although it might get slightly messy with many systems having different amounts of cpus. note that starting with zabbix 1.8 on all platforms cpu index should start with 0
