    Discovery Users

    Staff,

I'm using Dicovery to see how many machines are in each branch office where I work.
The intention is not to monitor them but have a database with the IP's of machines, as all IP's are fixed and therefore have to have an updated spreadsheet with this numbering. For this reason deactivated all actions to dicovery.
The rule was simple to do and I will working properly. The problem is I need a user that has access only to this list of IP's to consult the other sectors also, without having permission to modify, delete and change the rules ..
Does anyone have any idea how to configure the user?
    Sorry for bad English.

given that discovery lacks permission control, have you tried adding a new user without any access to host groups ?

      yes
I created a user without permission to any group with the type Zabbix user discovery and the option does not appear in the user interface. Only when I add zabbix admin as the option becomes available, but the user has permission to create and delete rules of discovery.
      Obrigada

ahh, true... looks like it's not really possible currently. maybe worth adding a feature request, although this probably would be a subtask of general permission system improvement.
