    slow machine/false positives?

    Hi,

Can a slow zabbix host [actually not slow, but low ram] cause false positive webchecks?

I'm renting a slice from slicehost with 256 megs of ram, running zabbix and postgres. I'm getting a few false positives here and there with webchecks. Out of 19 hosts, checked every 10 seconds, i get about 1 or 2 alerts per day that never turn out to be anything.

I notice I'm using about 30 megs of swap, I'm wondering if this causes any latency in zabbix and if boosting theslice to 512 would be worth while?

    Thanks

Yes, I have had this problem. Either not enough ram to process the threads, and/or not enough IO bandwidth to the DB to keep up.
