Link spikes to process that generate it

    Hi there.
I might being missing something quite basic here:

how do i link a particular moment in time (for example a spike in a cpuload graph) with the process that generates it?

In other word how can i have a history of all command/processes that has being runned trough the server?
    Thanks

    Hi Terataz,

I've had a similar idea, and I am going to write a script (UserParam.) for that when I find the time.
Once I got it working, I can post it here; but it might be some days (hopefully not weeks) from now.

The basic idea is to get the output of top and parse it nicely.
For Windows, it would probably be something about tasklist.exe.

So, give it a try if you like.

    cu, Jerry

      Hi Jerry,
that's exactly what i was thinking about: a script to parse "top" . I need it badly, so i will try write and write it myself, and post it here once done.
Let's see who finish it first!
      Nice one,
      Terataz

        My suggestion

Here is what I have come up with, so far:
I posted it into Zabbix Cookbook forum.
